i've discovered two new tv series at the website where i watch all the others. this is the website partially responsible for my tv series addiction. anyway, these two new shows that i regularly watch are nip/tuck and samantha who. nip/tuck stars two plastic surgeons, christian troy and sean mcnamara. the episodes are basically about the stories of their lives as well as the stories of the people that they do surgeries on. samantha who is about samantha who had an accident, was in coma for 8 days and was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. her general knowledge is intact but no stored personal memories from before the accident. the two tv shows are completely oppposite. they are both about changing the self but in two different ways and with two different kinds of effect. nip/tuck is about changing the outside appearance of some people that troy/mcnamara work on. however, that doesn't change anything inside of them, the personality, the past, the memories..just how they look on t...

i don't usually read the news on newspapers anymore, not even on their online edition. i just think that the main players are the politicking politicians who all look and sound the same so what difference does it make? anyhow, i still visit the online edition of inquirer, sometimes for the editorial but more often some articles in the lifestyle and the youngblood sections. just now, i read the youngblood contributions of two young men on real love and commitment. it is just enlightening to know that there are still men who believe in love and commitment in the true sense of the words. i know it's unfair for men that i judge them as incapable of both but then can you blame me? even these two guys believe that the society of these times has been plagued with artificial and superficial love mistaken for true love, and relationships filled with intimacy and lust without even a speck of true commitment. i just salute these two men, along with a few other men if there are, for sticki...

i could have just written this post with the tv series addict blog, but i chose not to because i just want one separate blog as a tribute to these two persons. i've just proven that people who have met through the internet or phone and haven't met even once in person can be friends, really good friends. some time ago, i joined this investigative/guessing thingy sponsored by the philippine daily inquirer on the net. they had this situation where members guess what's going to happen next or who is the person involved and kinda solve it. they even had chatrooms for members. from this room, i met two persons, nath who is from davao and ??? i am a certified tv series addict. it all started when i was channel surfing and caught one of the episodes of csi season 1. then i got addicted to csi and then to csi miami ad csi new york. episodes are late here in the philippines. csi season 8 hasn't even started yet here. when i went to thailand for a year, i missed out on a lot of episodes because we had no cable connection there so that all the shows on tv were in thai. well, when i got back here last year, i started looking for the episodes that i missed over the internet. and i joined csi groups from friendster. i learned from some of the discussions of some websites which let you watch these tv series. i think i got those computer virus from them, lol. anyhow, i discovered another website which shows episodes of almost all the tv series you can think of. i am not at a liberty to divulge this website but it sure gives me a lot of fun. i was and am able to watch all the episodes of my favorite tv series: csi (lv, miami, ny),...
