commitment

i first saw it at the oprah homepage. they interviewed 'couples' and children of this polygamous community in the US. and then the cnn had several features on the polygamous sect.
i just couldn't take it anymore. this is just crazy! apparently, this is a community wherein a man has several wives and children and they all live in the same house, happily. two of those featured on oprah are even sisters. call me judgmental but this is plain crazy.
why couldn't men commit to just one woman and be contented with that? this goes to all men out there who may have only one wife in his house but countless other flings. i do not know about other women out there but this is just plain disrespectful of men. imagine declaring his love for you and then kissing and having sex with another woman (and in this community, in the same house!)!
if you would just read my previous blogs, you know that i am so keen on commitment in relationships, especially in marriages. i mean that is what a marriage is all about. you commit to each other that in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, in happiness and in sadness, you will stay committed and faithful and loving to each other and you will both work to make things work. i don't know what is it that people don't understand about the marriage vows that they take. it doesn't take a master's or doctor's degree to understand this. and being committed equals being faithful to the ONE you committed yourself to and not having flings and extra-curricular thingies.
arghhh!

february 15. childhood imagination - this is a factory of ajinomoto at the nlex. dwarfs go into this giant ajinomoto at midnight, when there are no people around, to get the ajinomoto that we buy from stores. LOL! this is actually the new shape already. my childhood imagination was with the old shape.

happy new year

happy new year!!! i’ve been meaning to post since before the new year. however, there was so much traffic in accessing the internet maybe because of the many people who update their profiles and/or send their holiday greetings. plus, i had to delete many spam comments in my friendster blog site. i don’t really understand why they are there and they just keep on piling everyday. anyway, because it’s a new year, i will have a new year’s resolution. this is the 2nd year of posting my new year’s resolution. just read on my previous posts because i have mentioned this quite a few times and i even evaluated myself if i was true to the promise, hehehe. and i plan to continue doing it even if 2008 has passed. so for this year, i resolve to save. i have been working for almost 9 years now and i haven’t saved any penny. i have a bank account and all but there’s really nothing in it. i resolve to start doing this this year because i just thought that i am not getting any younger and i am n...
