summer is over

summer is over

i haven't written a blog about summer and yet it is officially over. the rainy season is here. in all the days of this week, it rained. from yesterday until now, there's a non-stop rain brought about by the two typhoons apparently leaving the philippine territory.
i don't have anything against rain. in fact, i love it when it rains because it becomes comfortable. i can just lazy around all day and this is acceptable because you have the rain for a reason, hehehe. however, it also has its disadvantages. when you are traveling even at short distances, it becomes a hassle. the laundry doesn't get done and if ever it does, it doesn't dry well. and i can't go out biking anymore. and it signals the opening of a new school year.
as hot as it is, i will miss the summer. i will miss biking with my bike-buddies igi and bob (and lately chubby and mikee also). i will miss the late nights watching tv and waking late in the morning. i will miss the all-day access to the internet, tv, psp, books, bed...i will miss all the free time.
but things have to move on. i barely have two weeks before going back to work. actually i have to report for work next week for the enrollment so i basically have only a week to make the most out of it and i can't do that much because of the rains.

by the way, on thursday i visited some old friends in manila. first off, i was able to catch up with jean (a member of powerfriends, remember?). we had lunch and a lot of chat. see the attached pix? that's us.

then, i visited ate eva in diliman. she is with another department now but that's cool. we chatted for sometime and visited our other friends in other offices. she also treated me snacks of squidballs. we also caught up with kuya manny who was lined up at the atm, and kuya lem who was on his way to thy. it was a good day. being in my old school brought back a lot of memories - the lounging at the fc corridors, eating at beach house or casaa, eating isaw in front of ilang or kalayaan, chatting at the sunken garden (or the other garden/big greeny place in front of fc, back of admin building whose name i can't remember, forgetful me...we did most of our rehearsals at that place).

well, it was a good week. and my high school friend christian is back in town for a vacation from the us. we all hope to catch up with him soon next weekend at a swimming 'party'.
that's about it.

february 15. childhood imagination - this is a factory of ajinomoto at the nlex. dwarfs go into this giant ajinomoto at midnight, when there are no people around, to get the ajinomoto that we buy from stores. LOL! this is actually the new shape already. my childhood imagination was with the old shape.

happy new year

happy new year!!! i’ve been meaning to post since before the new year. however, there was so much traffic in accessing the internet maybe because of the many people who update their profiles and/or send their holiday greetings. plus, i had to delete many spam comments in my friendster blog site. i don’t really understand why they are there and they just keep on piling everyday. anyway, because it’s a new year, i will have a new year’s resolution. this is the 2nd year of posting my new year’s resolution. just read on my previous posts because i have mentioned this quite a few times and i even evaluated myself if i was true to the promise, hehehe. and i plan to continue doing it even if 2008 has passed. so for this year, i resolve to save. i have been working for almost 9 years now and i haven’t saved any penny. i have a bank account and all but there’s really nothing in it. i resolve to start doing this this year because i just thought that i am not getting any younger and i am n...
