i have been wanting to update my blog but i just couldn't gather my thoughts for a well-written blog. well, i haven't but i'll just write whatever comes to mind.
school has started. i have different kinds of students, and more students so that the i ran out of speech manuals. i hope they are good students.
the putting up of the speech lab is done but i am still testing the equipment. i have seen a number of defects which i will report on monday.
because there is school, my biking with my bike-friends is now only limited to friday afternoons and weekends...and during non-working holidays.
i am still not into my work. i need to motivate myself to be take it more seriously so that i will be more productive. i hope to start this week.
i was able to watch valeri bertinelli one night on oprah. i really don't know this person, i just knew that she was in an american tv series a long time ago, married a heavy metal guitarist, has gone through life taking drugs, etc. she wrote a book "one day at a time." during the show, pictures of her and her husband were flashed on the screen and i thought that she looked younger now than before. and i was thinking why and i came up with this reason: maybe because now that she's out of drugs and 'depression,' she has matured and is now taking one day at a time. she now also smiles and laughs a lot.
smiling all the time and laughing to your heart's content make you really look young. try it to believe it. it also gives you a light feeling.
that's about it so far. i will regather my thoughts and hope to write a better blog next time.
p.s.
i haven't written anything about our high school reunion. i am posting the photos.
this high school classmate of ours, christian, came back for a vacation from the US. we organized a get together for him. it was originally planned to be at villa alfredo. then somebody suggested that it be held at fontana. but by that time it was too late and all the villas and cottages at every resort were already reserved. but we still pushed through with it, just at rhea c's house. it was a fun get-together, catching up with old friends and talking about memories of the past and new things happening in one another's lives.
you should have seen at the photos that we had fun.
thanks to chris for shouldering the food and for borrowing the books for me for for coming back so that there was a reason to celebrate. until your next vacation...and the vacation of the others who are overseas. please make some contact before you arrive so that caress can arrange something, hehehe.
