endings and beginnings

i watched army wives s04ep13 online, replayed it two times already and yet i couldn't help but cry again on those touching scenes. the episode is about saying goodbyes. yes, i know, i've been hom e for more than a month, 1 month and 3 days. i am really glad i am home but watching this episode made me think about the times when i was writing thank you and goodbye notes, and saying goodbye to the friends i made in the US. i was even asking myself where's the good in goodbye? well, i a m saying it yet again, a wise woman told me it's all good. every moment in this lifetime is precious. every step of the journey IS the journey. she was right all along. and this woman is one of the many whom i miss. it's always hard to say goodbye. it's part of attachment . Angeles Arienne cited Harrison Owen’s The Immutable Laws of Spirit which are ‘whoever is present are the right people to be there; whenever we start it’s always the right time; what happens is the only thing tha...

30-day journey back home

after my 10-month journey in the US, i have documented myself for my first 30 days back here at home, through at least one picture. today is my 30th day back home...i have been home for a month and i can say that i have re-adjusted well. these are the reasons why i feel so back home - 80 degrees fahrenheit and above temperature with an average humidity of 85% is normal - skin gets dry despite the heat and humidity - everyday is a rainy day, too - flooding in some areas however short the duration of the rain was - no more online shopping - tricycles and jeepneys without schedule - longer travel time even in shorter distances - narrow and not-so-well paved roads everywhere - not a lot of english-speaking people so not a lot of the f*** word - brown people, not much diversity - disorganization, no lines - no free wi-fi everywhere, slow internet connection - not much traveling - slow transactions - a lot of people not doing what they're supposed to do - people-oriented people - home-co...

horoscope

this is freaking me out...my thoughts exactly. You're in the mood for education, new experiences or foreign travel -- and you may want to go it alone. If you can't take off just yet, you at least need to try to make plans. Browse online to find new possibilities for your next big trip. Be sure you're at least checking out somewhere you've always meant to go. It's a big world, with lots to do -- but only so many hours.
