post hiatus

after my long hiatus, i am back to blogging! extra: is hiatus supposed to be brief only?
yes, it's been a while since. i have been really busy with work. i don't actually understand why, but i have been feeling overworked this semester. is it a sign of aging? i mean i have the same number of units as the previous years and yet i haven't been as updated as i was with my fave tv series. i have been really late in my 365 photos of 2011 on facebook. i even stopped posting them here on this blog page. well, i'm not complaining, i'm just sayin'.
updates...i got my bedroom renovated - carpet out, tiles in; new paint complementing the floor tiles; wall-mounted tv rack; more space. now, that's what i call a relaxing space.
i, in coordination with jaimee, was able to come up with a handbook in technical writing for our students, even if i only have one technical writing class.
i met with ma'am vernie at UP when she came for a month visit. it was good catching up together with ate eva.
i watched cirque du soleil's varekai on july 14. yup, they came here in the philippines! it was as amazing as the one i have watched with mae in las vegas!
just this week, my article got published in a malaysian language bulletin. the article was actually a revision of the language and perception paper for my speech 150 class at skyline college. thanks to aileen for the consideration. i am actually downloading the online version, and am waiting for my hard copy from the mail.
i am thinking of doing research in collaboration with some international friends. i actually have something in mind already, i just need to consult my mentors if the research is feasible.
i want to revisit the US, california at least. i still have no idea how but it will happen, just like all my other dreams.

february 15. childhood imagination - this is a factory of ajinomoto at the nlex. dwarfs go into this giant ajinomoto at midnight, when there are no people around, to get the ajinomoto that we buy from stores. LOL! this is actually the new shape already. my childhood imagination was with the old shape.

happy new year

happy new year!!! i’ve been meaning to post since before the new year. however, there was so much traffic in accessing the internet maybe because of the many people who update their profiles and/or send their holiday greetings. plus, i had to delete many spam comments in my friendster blog site. i don’t really understand why they are there and they just keep on piling everyday. anyway, because it’s a new year, i will have a new year’s resolution. this is the 2nd year of posting my new year’s resolution. just read on my previous posts because i have mentioned this quite a few times and i even evaluated myself if i was true to the promise, hehehe. and i plan to continue doing it even if 2008 has passed. so for this year, i resolve to save. i have been working for almost 9 years now and i haven’t saved any penny. i have a bank account and all but there’s really nothing in it. i resolve to start doing this this year because i just thought that i am not getting any younger and i am n...
