Major Crimes S1 E4

Michael Weatherly is here on this episode! And his character here is so much like his personality on NCIS. I guess that is that personality that suits his real personality. How ironic huh! It was nice to see him here (oh well, this is a very old episode anyway) especially that a new season of NCIS is coming its way this week or next week. So many tv series available for me now in addition to my old ones who are returning on air for the fall season. :)

Major Crimes S1 E3

Det. Provenza is warming up to Capt. Raydor on this episode. The whole major crimes unit is actually starting to learn its ropes without Brenda. They're even starting to like the newbie Det. Sykes. I guess it's just but normal that when people have been work colleagues for a long time, they bond and work together like family. They get to know one another's quirks and quarks so they tend to know one another's next move. When somebody new comes, what everyone was used to would somehow start to change. People are normally not keen on changing what they were used to doing. This is the main reason why cultural change is very hard to do. The effect in the workplace is the 'old' work colleagues would resist the newbies and somehow not welcome him/her with open arms. But there is nothing permanent in this world except change. However hard it is to accept the new things that we think will shake what we are used to, we have to. Oh well, life just is...

Major Crimes S1 E2

"The ability to hold your team together should be a function of your leadership, not your rank. Effectively concluding this case would demonstrate both your capacity to command and your fitness for the job." ~Asst. Chief Russel Taylor
